Annual Renewal Requirements
Under the Professional Accountants Ordinance, all registration ends on 31 December each year. Renewal notices will be issued in October and members may login to renew registration online after receipt of the renewal notice. An application for renewal of registration shall be made to the Institute not later than 15 December in the year preceding in such form as the Council may specify.

At present, all CPAs are required to: (1) pay annual fee (2) submit Annual Return which contains - the CPD declaration to substantiate that they have complied with the mandatory continuing professional development requirement; and - the fit and proper declaration to indicate that they remained to be a fit and proper person to be a CPA.
